What's new: The new .NET Architecture course has been updated to use WCF, C# 3.0 and Visual Studio 2008 to explore ideas in architecture and distributed computing. The course will have more examples of real production systems from Google, Amazon, MySpace, EBay, and more. An improved chapter on Design Patterns will delve into some patterns used throughout the .NET Framework and explain how to implement them using the newer features in C# 3.0. A new chapter on Transactions will help developers use them sparingly to improve performance without sacrificing reliablilty.
